Which makes it all the more delightful to share this exclusive track stream from the new Athens, Georgia, band Mind Brains. “Whistle Tips” comes from their eponymous debut album which hits in early January on the Orange Twin label. An Elephant 6 super-group of sorts, Mind Brains features Eric Harris of the Olivia Tremor Control; Andy Gonzales of Marshmallow Coast, the Music Tapes, and ex-of Montreal; and Hannah Jones of New Sound of Numbers, among many others.
