A year on from the release of debut LP ‘Weird Sister’, Joanna Gruesome are returning with a new split 12” with Trust Fund.
Both acts are contributing three tracks per side of gold vinyl (out 22nd September on Reeks of Effort). The first to emerge from the release is ‘Jerome (Liar)’, a song that dives into sinister territory from the off. Chords are chugged out with breakneck speed, almost as if the band have been formed of their 1 minute, 40 second running time and have to fill the quota as quickly as possible.
